Mhat is a team knowledge base built for Myanmar. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.
What we collect
We collect what you give us to run the service: your account details (name, email), the documents and data you and your teammates write, and basic usage information needed to keep the service working and fix problems.
Why we collect it
Your documents and data exist to be used by you and the people you share them with. We use account and usage information to authenticate you, keep workspaces secure, and respond to support requests.
Offline and local storage
When you write offline, your recent work is stored on your device and synced to our servers when you reconnect. Offline edits are never silently discarded.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your documents to train others’ models. We do not share workspace content except with the teammates you grant access.
Payments
Payments are handled through KBZPay and Wave. We do not store your payment credentials. A payment confirmation is recorded so we can reconcile your plan, but card and wallet details stay with the provider.
Your control
You can export and delete your content at any time, and delete your account. After a plan ends your data stays readable and exportable — we never hold your work hostage.
Contact
Questions? Reach us through the support channel in the product, or on Messenger — not just email. We'll respond in Burmese or English.
This is a draft written to reflect how Mhat intends to handle data. It will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.
